I made the legs/supports for the companion way seat/table from some leftover 10 mm plywood. Now I have to get some suitable hinges. The slots in the frame stop the seat/table from moving about.
The yellow (and blue) tape masks off the areas that will be treated with a coat of non-slip paint. I bought $2.00 worth of plastic ‘anti slip’ granules. I made a small amount of paint for testing on a small piece of plywood, and the result is quite ok. The areas that will be ‘non-slip’ are parts of the cockpit deck (inside the yellow lines on the photo), the cabin roof and patches on the seat back tops (the area that will most likely be used as a step to get to the cabin roof).
